Currently serving as the University of Mississippi’s head football coach is American Lane Monte Kiffin, born on May 9, 1975. (Ole Miss).
From 2005 to 2006, Kiffin was the offensive coordinator for the USC Trojans football team. From 2007 to 2008, he was the head coach of the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League. From 2009 to 2013, he was the head coach of the Trojans.
When he first joined the Raiders, he was the youngest head coach in the modern era of the NFL (until Sean McVay joined the Rams in 2017), and he once served as the collegiate football team’s head coach in the BCS Conference.
In the period between 2014 and 2016, Kiffin served as the offensive coordinator at the University of Alabama. In the following year, he was appointed as the head coach of Florida Atlantic, a post he held until December 2019, when he was promoted to head coach at Ole Miss.

Education and Early Professional Life

Before the 2005 season, Kiffin and Steve Sarkisian were each given a promotion to offensive coordinator at USC. Over the course of three seasons, the pair worked together to guide the team to a 23-3 record.
The Oakland Raiders of the NFL then signed Kiffin to a two-year deal with an estimated $4 million in total cost.
Sadly, only 20 games were played during Kiffin’s stay in Oakland, and just 5 of those games were victories for the team. After a single 7-6 season, he quickly accepted a position as head professor at the College of Tennessee, but it quickly ended.
To fill their head-teaching hole, Kiffin sprinted to USC. During his three and a half seasons at the college, the coach made $4 million a year.

Landry, Monte, and Pressley are the names of the three kids Kiffin shares with his ex-wife Layla. Noteworthy is that Layla graduated from the University of Florida.
As for Florida Atlantic University’s football program, Kiffin is credited with spearheading its revival. His excellent 18-6 record over three seasons, which featured two Boca Raton Bowl appearances, is rather impressive.
